Have you ever pondered the burning question of the rise and fall of Jewish delicatessens in New York City and beyond? Come and explore the history of this cultural phenomenon through the eyes of Ziggy Gruber, a third generation “deli man.” This 2014 documentary shows the heyday of Jewish delis when there were thousands across the country, to their decline to fewer than 150 today.
Come enjoy a traditional deli dinner with not so traditional options for veggie and gluten free. Registration is required. Register by November 10 if you want to come for dinner so we will have enough food! Or you can just register for the film.
