Congregation Tikkun v’Or invites all to join for a post-Simchat Torah service / concert on Saturday, October 18, 7-8:30 pm with Michael Margolin and special guest Cantor Leah Shoshanah.

It will be a spirited evening of song, dance, and Torah.

Together we’ll hold our pain, gratitude, and joy, and build hope through music, hakafot - (dancing with the Torah), and community.

Leah Shoshanah seeks to unite the divided — both within oneself and within communities. Through her beautiful voice and honest songwriting, listeners from all walks of life find space to shed tears, laugh, sing and dance. Since 2012, Shoshanah has been composing music, both Jewish and secular, performing, leading prayer and song-leading around the world. She has sung on historic stages in her hometown of Chicago, toured the Eastern and Central USA and played to audiences of thousands on tour in Germany. Leah was honored with a Chicago Cultural Affairs Grant in 2022 and she was named part of the Emerging Leadership Cohort at this year’s ALEPH Kallah. She looks forward to joining with your community in song!
